Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maduro is dressed in a maduro wrapper that was aged at least 6 years before it was aged for an additional 14 months in bourbon barrels. Completing the blend are aged premium long-fillers from Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli Nicaragua.




Nick Perdomo, Sr. was born and began his apprenticeship in 1948 at the Marin & Trujillo factory before earning accolades for his craftsmanship and making his own way to join his father at Partagas. “Things were going so well then, my father and I were just beginning to establish ourselves and obtain recognition for our work,” said Nick, Sr., an imposing wrecking ball of a man with a soft voice and a heart as big as his frame. “But then Castro destroyed everything – our country, our lives and our freedom.”


Nick Perdomo Jr. created this special, full-bodied blend using Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in the Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. “The beautiful Cuban-seed Corojo and triple-fermented Nicaraguan Maduro wrappers complement their unique filler blend by adding rich, bold flavors with a smooth, satisfying finish”…..says Nick.




The Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper is dark, burnt brown in color with notable seam, tooth and vein. Dense to the touch, the wrapper feels like shark skin oozing with oils. Rolled in the Gordo format it has a wide open foot with a triple rounded cap and measures in at 6 x 60.

Two bands sit on the vitola, the primary band is silver foil in color with ornate earthy browns, the top reads “PERDOMO” in solid black font on a light brown background, below reads “HABANO” in the same black font on a similar brown background.

In the middle is the Perdomo logo in white with slim black font reading “TABACALERA PERDOMO”. The footer band has similar colors and his half the size, silver and earthy browns it reads “Maduro”.

Pre light aroma had notes of almonds, oak and cocoa bean. The cold draw produced flavors of cedar, chocolate and coffee spice.
